Every Child is Special

It was when I finally had kids that I realized that even if they come from the same parents, they would always have different personalities.

Caleb is the family clown. He has made us laugh a countless number of times with his antics. He is a happy baby and he has a bubbly personality. Just now, when we attended the 1st birthday party of my niece, he joined an on-going pictorial of adults. He was not part of the pictorial nor was he familiar with the adults- except of course my broter and his wife. Everybody just laughed.

Calix, on the other hand, is the more serious and emotional one. He cries easily and gets sad easily. I told him earlier that if we played during the party, he would get the Toy Story magnetic set as his prize. So he gamely played bring me. But when he received his prize, his face was sad and there were tears on his eyes. I asked him why and he said "Buzz Lightyear." He expected to get the Toy Story set. So I had to ask my brother if we could change his prize.

You see, my twins are never the same. Each of then has their own unique personalities which make them special. They may be twins but they're totally different from each other. That's why they say that every child is special.
