Our Annual Trip to Cebu...

Every year, we troop to Cebu for annual vacation.  We do it during our wedding anniversary.  Last year, trying to be different, and wanting to spend it all alone, I booked a piso fare via Cebu Pacific, only for my husband and I.  At the very last minute, however, my mother insisted that we bring along the twins.  So I had to hurriedly book a flight.  I could not even book it online since they do not fall under unaccompanied minors.  I had to call the hotline.  Good thing, the hotline cooperated.  I was able immediately talk to a customer representative and book a flight for the twins.  I wanted to cringe at the ticket costs.  I only paid Php1k plus for the piso fare tickets while I had to pay Php8k plus for the twins' tickets.  I learned a hard lesson that day.  Hehehe.  Just book tickets for the four of us.  That way, if they don't come with us, the losses are not that high and if they do come with us, at least I won't be paying for very high ticket costs.

So last year, we stayed at Imperial Hotel.  My husband and I wanted to book at Crimson because I was so envious of my sorority sister, Cheryl and her husband Keith.  But since we would be bringing the kids along, we decided to stay at Imperial Hotel.  It's actually one big water park, where I know my kids would surely love to stay.  And the very nice thing was that they had an ongoing promo for local residents.  Room rate for a deluxe room garden view (although this is questionable as there was no garden in sight) was Php5,500.00 per night with plate-in breakfast for two.  Kids are free!  Yehey! The plate in sounded a bit off for me since I had to ask myself if the food can feed the four of us.  Hahaha.  But hey, when the food arrived, ang dami!  And the room is big enough for us.  I was even able to practice my headstands!

So here are snippets of our annual Cebu vacation.  If you have kids, you'd definitely love Imperial.  Trust me, our kids did.
