Last Travel for 2012

Our last travel for 2012 was to Puerto Princesa, Palawan. My mom was able to get tickets for the Davao-Puerto Princesa direct flight at a promo rate. So off we went with the rest of the group, Mom's staff at Digos City.

I don't have much pics. I guess when we travel we forget to take pics because the kids are on top of our priority. We have twin 3 year old tots who are very active. So it's either somebody takes the pic or we are not really able to take pics (sniff, sniff). In moments when we are able to take the pics, we do it hurriedly because the kids won't really stay put for long. But sometimes, when I think about it, I guess what's more important are the memories we create rather than the pics we are able to take. Palusot!

So our travel itinerary consisted with:
Day 1: City Tour
Day 2: Underground River Tour
Day 3: Honda Bay Tour
Day 4: Flight Home.

If you ask me though, on a personal note, Puerto Princesa is not really a good place to bring the kids (they're just 3!).  They were cranky inside the Underground River.  Even the half day City Tour was not something they really liked (except for the huge playground at the Baker's Hill).  They loved the Honda Bay tour, though, because both really love the beach.  It was, I guess, the only part of the trip they really enjoyed.

But in all honesty, I really love how clean Puerto Princesa is (no littering!).  I love how rustic the town is (I felt like being transported in another period!).  I would want to go back, when the kids are bigger.  There are places we haven't even gone to yet like the Iwahig Penal Colony (this is considered a romantic getaway) where the Firefly Tour is being held and I'd love to go there.  And oh, we have yet to experience the wonderful place called El Nido. Cross my fingers!

So here are some pics (all from my phone, I have yet to look at our camera)..

City Tour.  The kids had fun with their imaginary kalesa.
I wonder  if they will ever get to ride one
.

I forgot what this place was called.  But it's a mandatory stopover
when going to the Underground River.

This is what greeted us at the entrance before going to the Underground River.
Don't you just want to jump in?

This is the morning before the Honda Bay Tour.  Finally, a time to swim!

This is the Provincial Capitol.  It was all covered with lights.  The government even had a
lights show,  just like in Ayala Triangle!
