Life is a Beach!
We are a beach loving family. Going to the beach is one activity we all like doing (although preparing for the beach outing can be quite stressful!). The twins also love going to the beach. Maybe they inherited it from us (it's in the genes, as they would say).
I remember going to beach with my husband when I first failed the Bar Exams. We went to Mati with some of my friends to rest and recover. I also remembered going to Paradise with his family. On a personal note, I grew up loving the beach. Whenever we would go to Zamboanga for our summer, we would always go to the beach every Sunday (one whole day!). We'd end up with sunburns all over our faces and bodies since we would be soaking in the sea the entire day. But despite the pain of having sunburns, going to the beach was still my favorite activity. When I went to college and when I entered law school, going to the beach was not anymore a favorite activity. Apart from the fact that I wanted to retain my skin tone (ang arte ko back then!), college life and law school life was also very hectic. My love for the beach was rekindled when I finally had my kids.
Their first encounter was not with the beach. It was a plastic pool which we borrowed from my sister-in-law. I think they were 6 months back then. They both cried and they both wailed. They did not like the water at all. I think after acquainting themselves with the pool several times, they finally got the hang of it. Since then, they have never looked back. Beach time and pool time is equivalent to fun! (Oh, did I mention they swim everyday at the country club?!)

This was taken last summer at Panglao. They did not quite like the beach. Guess why?
We're going dolphin watching! (Bohol)
Again at Bohol after the dolphin watching. I think this was at Vanishing Island.
They discovered this and they just could not stop snorkeling. This morning I woke up to Caleb telling me he wants a small snorkel and mask.
Family pic at Vanishing Island.
This one is at Pearl Farm with my pamangkin Aga.
