At Eden.....
We try to bring the twins to places other than the malls. Yes, they love the mall. They especially love Abreeza. They love Wonderland, Dave's Fun House, Kid's Playroom and Zoofari, play houses situated at malls. I also love these places because it allows them to be kids, play and socialize. But the thing is, there's nothing much you can do at malls. When go to the mall, we just play and eat. And sometimes, it bothers me that when we're at the mall, we're able to spend more than what we should do. So sometimes, we try to bring them to other places. We bring them to beaches (this the kids specially loves!), we go nature-tripping (Crocodile Park and Philippine Eagle Center), we bike and we hike. I find that it is during these moments that they can be kids and actually learn something new.
So yesterday, Palm Sunday, we went to Eden. We initially wanted to stay overnight but booking a room was next to impossible (the lady at the Front Desk says Holy Week is a very busy week for them). Hence, we settled for a day tour. For Php470 per adult with buffet lunch (kids below 3 are free, weeee!), it's all worth it.
The twins were quite excited the day before because we told them that they would go fishing. That seemed to ring a bell to their ears. "Mama, fishing! Huli tayo fish!" So it was not really difficult waking them up on Sunday since they both knew what lay ahead. Even during Mass, they were already a bit uneasy. They both just wanted the Mass to end. "Malapit na Mama?". They were that excited.
My husband always says that there's nothing much that a kid can do at Eden. I beg to disagree. I'd always say there are. There's always tons to do and see at Eden. I especially enjoyed Eden when I was younger and still single. I loved the cool weather, the cold swimming pool, the fireflies, the hikes and the food! I spent some times with my cousins there and we immensely enjoyed it. It's bonding and having fun without TV. Love, love, love!
So here's a glimpse of our Sunday trip at Eden. As you can see, the kids enjoyed it. Whenever our tour guide would say wacky, Caleb does a wacky pose (up until now we don't know where Caleb learned that). Calix on the other hand won't do any wacky pose. "Hindi ako marunong Mama." Nevertheless, even with or without the wacky pose, the kids sincerely enjoyed Eden. Just take a look at how they had fun.
